ABOUT YOUR COACH

My working career started as a nurse working for the NHS. I then went on to study Social Work leading me to become a Senior Social Worker within local authorities. Latterly becoming a Local Politician. As a previous Cabinet Member for Sustainable Transport I have had a unique insight into what equality can do within organisations.

Throughout my personal and professional life I have been fascinated with people and their approach to equality in large and medium size organisations. Now a coach myself, I combine all of my life, work and political experiences to a unique approach to coaching.

Learning from experience, issues to do with equality can be a sensitive subject and some are hesitant to demonstrate their lack of understanding in public. It is for this reason group coaching may not be appropriate. Holding a private space to explore difficult issues can be beneficial and less threatening.  

 

Research on diversity shows that adaptability drives market growth and the benefits will last longer than ticking boxes. My broad based appeal means that I can be flexible in my coaching approach. Assisting individuals to identify how they can be a key part of making your organisation better than best.
